What is Covered California?

Covered California is the state’s health insurance marketplace where Californians can shop for health plans and access financial help is they qualify for it.

Ultimately, it’s a free service that connects you to several different health care plans. Their Shop and Compare tool allows you to compare health plans based on your personal information. This gives the consumer the power to look at different plans at different prices so they can choose. Consumers can then select the best plan for their needs and budget.

Covered California also offers financial assistance to qualifying applicants. Their financial assistance helps lower the cost of your monthly premium, granting you access to an affordable and quality health insurance plan.
